State Testing Information
We are heading into our state testing window, and I wanted to share a few important details so we can set our students up for success.
8th Grade WCAS Science
April 27 – May 1
Our 8th graders will take the WCAS Science assessment during their regular science classes.
State Testing for All Students Begins
Starting May 4
Testing Schedule
- Students will test for 88 minutes each day
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
- Testing block: 9:30–11:00 AM
- We are keeping consistent testing blocks to support focus and avoid having to redo our entire class schedule (a win for everyone )
Helpful Reminders for Families
- Please try to schedule appointments outside of 9:30–11:00 AM
- Make sure students are getting a good night’s sleep
- Chromebooks should come to school fully charged each day
- A little encouragement goes a long way—remind your student to just do their best
